Printing Reports and K,1 Class Rosters

When printing Evaluate™ reports or K, 1 class rosters, it is important to print background colors and images for best results.  By choosing to show these, colors will be visible on reports as well as the icons for Kindergarten and first grade passwords.  Also, all the Evaluate dashboard reports are meant to be printed in landscape mode so all data will display.  The information below will help guide users on how to set different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE and Safari) to show both the background images and how to set to print in landscape mode.  Please note, different versions of each browser might have a slightly different set up.

Chrome:

When using Chrome as your browser, the print window will have an option to show background graphics, and a quick link to change the page orientation.  This will work the same on both a PC and a Mac.

Firefox

If using Firefox, first make sure you are set to show background images.  This will need to be done prior to accessing the print window for the report. Depending on your version of Firefox, either click on the Firefox tab at the top left of the screen, or click on the menu bar at the top right corner:

Go to Page Setup or to the Print Icon.  From here, you can set your default to print Landscape, and Print Background.   The screens are very similar on both a PC and a Mac for Firefox.

Internet Explorer

On Internet Explorer, start by making sure you are set to show background images (the same as with Firefox).  This will need to be done prior to printing. Click on the File tab, Select Page Setup, or under Tools in the top right corner, go to Print, Page Setup.  Check the Print Background Colors and Images box, and change to Landscape.

Safari

After clicking the print icon, the print window will open.  Select Print Backgrounds, and change orientation to Landscape.
