Tips and Tricks
You can save the Evaluate login page on your iPad home screen, simplifying access to the system. Just follow these steps:
- Open a browser (Safari) and go to https:// catapultevaluate.com
- Tap on the “Share” icon at the top of the browser and choose the “Add to Home Screen” option, then just click “Add”
- You will now see an app tile for Evaluate on your home screen
Students should always use the iPad in Landscape mode as this will allow for less scrolling and add to ease of use.
To make Evaluate touch compatible we have turned off the ability to double tap or pinch the screen to enlarge or shrink the text during testing. Student can use the built in magnify tool to enlarge the text.
All tools will work on a touch device, but students may find some tools more difficult to use on a smaller device, such as the highlighter. It is recommended students using iPads for Evaluate take the Training Test so they can practice with both the tools and the question types.
